ParishView FAQ

Questions teams ask before a demonstration.

We will confirm configuration, integrations, data migration, and rollout details around your organisation’s actual process.

Can ParishView support migration from handwritten parish registers?

Yes. The migration can be planned in reviewable stages with source references, transcription rules, structured family and member relationships, verification states and authorised review. The exact approach depends on register condition, volume, language and the information the parish needs to search.

Can existing spreadsheets and digital records be imported?

Existing files can be assessed, mapped and cleaned before a controlled import. A representative sample is reviewed first so duplicate people, family relationships, dates, identifiers and uncertain values are handled consistently.

How is sensitive parish information protected?

Access is configured by role and purpose, with responsibilities for viewing, editing, exporting and correcting records agreed during implementation. Backup, recovery, record ownership and administrator access are included in the rollout discussion.

How is ParishView pricing scoped?

The scope considers the active parish population, historical migration volume, required record types, user roles, integrations, training, hosting and support. A demonstration and sample review allow OpsinTech to prepare a written proposal around the parish’s actual work.
